Hey, I have a friend down in FL right now doing the US College Program and when she checked into Chathem Square she got an apartment with 3 bedrooms and all 6 girls moved into the apartment on the same day. Is it different for everyone? I hope I get to move in with all new people, but also coming into an apartment as a newbie would have it's plus sides too. I'll be happy with anything
I'm assuming (and I could be way off) but with the one year program they just put you in an available bed with an existing roomate.
until i know for IP need put when theres space lol can be new or with people who alredy have sometime there XOXO :-* :-* :-* Ely :-* :-* :-*
It's pretty random! I moved into a place in Sept in which all the other people had moved in at the end of July, all on the same day! I know some people moved into an empty apartment and then got their roommates that day. And then there are the people who show up at the Commons and are told there isn't any room for them and are shipped down to Chattam ~ Jen
Thanks Jen, thats what I thought, totally random. It'd be pretty difficult to organize to be all the same (not that organizing this isn't crazy hard too!) lol Not too much longer now! and you're almost at the 6 month mark eh?
Jen is right. It is the most random process. I really lucked out. I moved into an apt with no one. I had no roommates for a few days. Another girl from Mexico was supposed to arrive the same day as me, but never showed up. A couple of UK girls heard about my empty apt and requested to be moved. They arrived the same day as me, but moved apts a few days later. Gotta admit, I was really nervous about where I would be living and who I'd be living with. Turns out that I got an apt with only 2 roommates, but my apt is the in the furthest building from the clubhouse. There is good and bad with everything, I guess. Sandra
I was lucky and we all moved in to my apartment on the same day but I think most people move in to apartments with people in. At least when you move in to one with people already in it you dont have to worry about TV's and stuff
