    Hey Y'all!!!

As an aspiring Chef (I use the term loosly)... I was kinda wondering about the whole cooking thing. More specifically, COOKERS... Are they GAS HOBS & GAS OVENS? Or ALL ELECTRICITY?

Also, are there communal Vaccum Cleaners we can borrow or once again, is it another trip to Walmart???

Sorry if these seem dumb... But: 1) I like Cooking and 2) I also like a clean pad!!

Look forward to solving my current queries with you guys. Thanks. ;)

    Hi,

While i was there and i am sure things haven't changed that much.. the cookers are all electric and you can borrow vaccum cleaners using your id card from the club houses to clean your apartment and then u have to leave it back and get your id back.. hope this helps...

    charlie.. :)

hullo! I'm not sure yet if I'm gonna get into the program, but I better be ready in case :)
One of the most important things for me is music...
so... YOU THINK IT'D BE A PROBLEM BRINGING MY ELECTRIC GUITAR DOWN THERE?

Ill bring my drum set (if I get in the program that is), and we can start a Disneyworld International Band and play in Downtown Disney, eh? 8)

  5. tee hee! YES!
I'm a singer and at home I practice and sing and play piano at least an hour every day, it's going to be so hard to get used to not singing all day long!
But if there are any other IPers who sing, I'd love to sing some songs together sometimes.....

i dont know for certain but i dont know why they wouldnt allow u to have an instrument... assuming its not something that takes up a load of space or that u intend to play at 3am lol

hehe...had an housemate that used to do that!!!! soooooo annoying.

He would stink the kitchen out with chili every night (not that I dislike chili....but every night!!), and then plug in his electric guitar and play all night long. Luckily he was on bottom floor and I was 3 floors up. Still couldn't be worse than the DJ with decks next door and the opera singer across the way....at least it made an interesting combo!!

It would be cool tho to be able to bring stuff like that! I used to play flute and keyboard, but haven't for years and I can't sing so I'll just dance along instead hehe.

    All sounds like fun anyway!!

There was a guy down here who had left in May that had a guitar. He used to play a song at every Canadian throw-out.... It was nice :)

    Way to be racist, idiot.

  13. I do hope you're joking (which would be inappropiate)
Or else - yeah, not cool.

You will be living with all the other americans, we internationals get to live together.

It is remotely possible that you could be sharing with an ICP participant at Vista.

But I really hope that you are not going to be getting anywhere near Disney guests with an attitude like that.

    "proud american"? hahaha
way to portray an american redneck, prolly a stereotype of himself...
no, i take that back, he's probably not even an american, he's sure to be a norwegian or german or something... maybe even swedish...

Hang out with many short annoying men like I do (aka. dwarves) you become a cynic.

    But thank you.
I really dont tolerate that behaviour. Even if it was a kind of tongue and cheek joke how were we to know? Just came off as prejudice and uncalled for...and NOT very Disney.

  18. here here, that sort of tongue and cheek is not funny anyways! It's offensive.

The thing is, this person wanted your attention and he got it! Better to pretend those people don't exist IMO...

Well no, that really doesnt do anything.
If someone was in a knife fight, would you think it better to just not give them the attention they crave?
