Apartment Pictures

Hey!  I can't remember which post had all the questions about the apartments, but I finally found some pics and managed to shrink them.  Here are some pics of my beloved 823!!! :'( It was a 2 bedroom with no balcony.

This pic...although not very good...is taken as soon as you walked in our front door. Bedroom #1 is to the right and that's the kitchen to the left.  There are two doors...the one on the left is the laundry room and the one on the right is bedroom #2 (my room).  The living room is right in front of you.

Obviously, the living room. The back part where I have my red exercise ball is where the balcony would usually be. You'd have sliding doors across from where we have the two hats hanging. This was taken not too long after I arrived in August '03...it looked so much nicer as the year went on. We got new carpet which made a 300% improvement!! It just looked cleaner!

 

To the left is the entry that the other pic was taken from and the right is obviously the kitchen.  The door at the back was our little pantry...it was only about a foot deep.  The sink and dishwasher (yeah for dishwashers!) is on the left and the stove/oven and refrig. on the right.

This was my room. As you see, I had a lot of stuff! The door on the left opened to the living room and the door on the right was our bathroom.

I hope my roommate doesn't kill me for posting these!!! (I love you, Sarah!) This pic was taken from the bathroom. The two brown bedside units are there when you arrive. We both bought our own linens and it made the room so much brighter. I bought the white cabinet at Target. I took this just before I started to pack to come home, so this is what a years worth of junk looks like!!

 

Thank goodness for Throw-Outs!!! Although, they're how I accumulated most of it!!

 

I wonder how many other people at the Commons had Kitty O'Sheas Pub signs? quite a few I think

 

This one was taken from my bed. That's the door to our bathroom and our closet. It was tiny. We could fit a chair in it so we could reach the stuff on the top shelf, but that's it. There are two small lockers in the closet and you need to provide your own lock for it. My laptop fit in it alright. The brown dresser is there for you. Three drawers for each roommate. There was a pretty big linen closet in the bathroom too. I have pics of the bathroom but I haven't found them yet!

Linz- i agree over the sofa - it could do with a throw. I did that with my sofa cos its nothing special - it is now lilac!
