If anyone could tell me the phone situation in the apartments, do we get one phone for everyone or do we all have seperate phones and extension numbers? do we need to bring our own phone, or can we if we want a portable phone?? thanks a bunch sheena
As far as I can tell there is one phone per appartment, that is then shared by all occupants. A mobile (cell) ohone would certainly be a good idea though it's not compulsory and I'm not sure about costs, I'm going to see whats available from walmart or somwhere when I get there.
Yep, there is only one phone in each apt and it's attached to the kitchen wall. I bought a cordless phone for my bedroom so I could talk in there or anywhere else in the apt without having to be attached to the wall. I think my phone was under $10. My roomies bought a phone for their room as well, but it's just a wall phone.
well at least we have a hook up in our rooms for one....im bringng my protable from home i love it the ringer is BLink 182 all the smallthings or Queen We will rock you!! .....do you know if we have void mail or not?
Hey Sheena! Uh with regards to voice mail, there is not any voice mail available here, but if your cordless has an answering machine built in it then use that. Or you can get an answering machine at Wal-Mart for about 10 bucks.

yeah the phones suck here. bad reception, so buy a portable phone. my roomies and i bought a portable and an answering machine for like $24 all together. it's pretty sweet
