I remember in the interviews, they said that we go to schools there and talk to the kids about our countries and things like that, does anyone know if we do do that or what they were talking about nikki
Im not sure but i think is part of voluntary work at Disney. You can go and do some charity work, like going to the school. When you arrive there they will let you know See ya
I know that as a fellowship you used to do that, but the program doesn't exist anymore. I never had to go to schools being a regular IP. Julia
There were some times when they used CMs outside to do community stuff. Check with the International Programs trailer when you get there. Shan
I went sometimes to visit a couple of schools and events! You have to offer yourself at the IP trailer, and write down your name. And then they pick you up at The Commons, really early, you have to wear your costume. Then at the school you have to talk about your country and traditions, and the kids ask you a lot of questions about your culture and it's really nice and fun to talk about it. You visit each place with people from other countries.... Try to do this, it's a really nice experience! Isolda
Idk if it's available for IP's too but as a CP I wnt to Give Kids the World Village and I looooooved it, it was so much fun and met wonderful people there. I spent xmas eve and met this one family and later when they went to DAK they looked for me and I arranged a m&g with the FoLK performers for them. It's a very rewarding experience
