Hey Im gemma, got a call around 19th december to say ill be working in merchandise. Ill be leaving june 25th from london as i finish uni this year and have to move before i can fly! Have you just found this website? im confused about how to find other people who are just doing the summer programme, everyone seems to be going for a year! Also do you know this website lingo? does F&B mean food and beverage? and whats a pavillion? Do you know if we find out exatcly where we are working when the info packs come through this month? hi gemma... congratulations for your new job !! in order to your questions, i found this website on october, just after my face2face interview... i think most of us in the forum are going to the REPRESENTATIVE CULTURAL PROGRAM which is foy a whole yeaaar.. exciting huh!? if you are doing the summer programme, you can post a message just like mine, in order to find the guys who are doing the same programme as you... like saying.. SUMMER PROGRAMME anyone? or else... f&b yes, it means food and beverage... the ones in the rep cultural programme will be working at EPCOT CENTER and Epcot center is formed by 13 countries, named pavilions... for me, im working at mexican pavilion, because im mexican and i must represent my country... and in your case, if you are working for Epcot center also, you´ll be at UK pavilion as a merch.. and yes.. as soon as your first package arrive, u´ll have the information about the work you will develop at Disney mmm.. i think those were your doubts.. but hey, anything you need, feel free ok? and see you soon at Orlando........ xoxo, teresa
uh...do I have to introduce myself?? Hi, I'm Jei...from canada and I'll be leaving June 20th (I had a thread on it) to work F&B. I'm only slightly disapointed that I have to work F&B, my first pic was merch seeing as how I have experience in retail sales. I'm also not really looking forward to dropping my first plate of food on the floor on my way to serving John Stamos or someone. ....I was originally offered the date of June 13th, but took June 20th because I need to go visit some friends after my semester is done.
you didn't tell me they offered you june 13th first! funny........good thing they let you do a different date. Who are you going to visit? brodder?
I didnt mind either way, Im out of school in the end of April I just wanted more time to wait...I guess I'm going up to Kalowna to stay with Ash and his family, brodder will be home in April so he'll probably come too depends on the whereabouts of Tiff...and if he even comes home. I know that after my term is up, I want to stop over in Ottawa and see a bit more of Eastern Canada.
