Ah I know it's rough, but you gotta smile through the storm and let it shine through despite the news. It just may not have been the right time - doesn't mean you can't try again!! When you want something bad enough, you just keep at it no matter what! We're all rootin' for ya! I can't even imagine how hard it is for them to select people for the F2F interviews when they have so many amazing applicants such as yourself! The journey to get there is half the battle, and if you just keep popping up and show them you want it - then they'll listen Don't give up!! The next round of applications is only in 6 months, so fingers crossed for you then!
Sometimes whenever something doesn't turn out the way we hope, we look for a reason that might explain why, and really - that's so hard to do when there are *so* many factors they take into consideration! I really don't think that would look at that one specific factor and automatically say "no". Especially given you left by your own decision. All sorts of different situations may arise when somebody is in the program, and so they can't fault somebody when it just doesn't work out for them. They surely take into account the time has passed since then, what any individual may have done during that time, and how they have grown. Who knows? As Shayna suggested, maybe sending Kristen a quick email may give you a better idea of why and you can go from there! It's all one big learning experience ultimately! And from this you know how to blow them away at the next round of interviews! Just keep swimming!
I emailed her and got a response quickly. She said after speaking at phone interview and reviewing work history and speaking to my former managers at Disney, they felt there were stronger candidates. I think it's because I quit before is the main reason. Oh well, that's life. I screwed it up myself
