How did the interview go, were you there for a long time? What info/papers did you take with you?

I'm a little nervous just because I always get that way right before I leave for places, but I managed a year abroad in Sweden and I've managed uni, and that was without knowing anyone beforehand so how bad can it be huh?

Zanitta, i just took everything with me to be on the safe side. that way if they needed anything it was all handy. my appointment was at 8.15 so i was straight in straight out. took bout half an hour total- most of the time was spent on security checks!!! remember to bring the special delivery envelope, i forgot it but they let me come back and drop one off!!!!

    good luck

Thtas exactly what I was going to say, we were just told to bring a tenner to pay the courier people so I assumed we sorted it all there. What type of envelope should I get, can get it at the post office?

I just wanna say that, yeah, you can buy the envelope in the postal office. Remember it should be a A4...(I'm not sure if you say that in UK..?), but that is the biggest one you get ;) Also remember stamps for the envelope! (in Norway that is 61 NOK or about 5 pounds)

Butr Andrew is from Northern Ireland according to his profile, but maybe it just works differently. We were told to bring money for the courier so I'm going to go with what the latter said and just bring the money I think. If it's wring I'm sure there will be somewhere to buy one at the london embassy.

I assume you went to Belfast (is belfast the irish embassy?) and didn't have to come to london for yours Andrew?

A couple of things just to clarify!!! We were told to bring a royal mail special delivery envelope to the visa interview(its a small grey/silver envelope just so they can post back ur passport) its already pre-stamped, but if u by it from the embassy its costs 9.50 whereas it will cost u 4.50 from the post office!!! So to cause so much confusion!!!

P.s does anyone no how long it takes til we find out our flight details???
