I got the call @ exactly 11:14 yesterday morning, I was on my way out the door to work , and It was finally them,

I had actually totally given up hope i had accepted that maybe I didnt get it, and well... move on....try again next time.... but no! I dont have to!

And Tessa im confident you will get it!
Maybe he just couldnt get ahold of anyone or maybe hes waiting for Monday, ? later start dates....? who knows but I did ask Erik how many they hired between here and Calgary and he said about 45... so there are definately some more phone calls to go through! Good luck to you all, and for those of you who i will be seeing in February! I'm soo excited to meet you, and post here if you wanna get to know the new canadian! ;D ;D ;D

yay everyone! I am just so happy! I was skipping at work! LOL people made fun of me but I came back with "make fun of me all you want. I'm going to live in FLORIDA for a year!" that shut them up hahaha

@ Kev, yay! we're flying out on the same date! Where are you going to be working? I assume you'll be flying out of YYC, but maybe our flights will connect somewhere or somthing, it would be nice to be on the same one eh? Not so lonely I'm sure we'll talk more closer to when we're booking our flights

@Tanis, I got called at 11am this morning, and yeah attractions will be awesome! Nicola (who was the one who called me, who called you?) anyways, she said they only hired 4 people for attractions and I should "be really proud, they saw something special in me for this position"
she said my paper had HIRE written on it with a big star next to it! SO they loved me yay!!!
She didn't tell me much about what the job will intail, but I know it's the canada 360 and Kidcot I think, don't know what else, she said speaking in front of large groups of people, which I absolutly LOVE LOVE LOVE doing! I am SO excited! (can you tell? hahaha)

 

I leave June 20th - so all of you will have a head start on settling in down there. Is anyone else heading down in June. I will be working Merchandise.

Tessa I saw the film last year when I was in DW - u just usher people in and out and tell them what to do if they get motion sickness. The film is very ancient - but it shows the hotel I work at!!

And to everyone in the prairies - one less winter we will have in the snow. Get used to saying humudity instead of wind chill factor!!!

Hi, my name is Brynna. Just found out this morning that I've been accepted into the summer program. I leave June 11th and stay until Sept 1st. I had thought for sure that I didn't get it but I called them this morning and they told me I had. I'll be working in Operations. I can't wiat. It may only be for a couple of months, but it will be great. Maybe after the fact I'll just have to apply for the year long program. Congrats to everyone else who got in! I can't wait to see the Castle all decorated for the 50th anniversary of DL and Everest will be up. It's a great year to go.

 

oooooooh I totally forgot about Everst opening! yay! That will be awesome!!!
