Hi I am french and i sent my cv 2months ago, i talk to noemie already and she told me she ll contact me in october for interview in Paris. So where did you work over there? IN Fand B? because i have no experience in F and B and i would like to work in a souvenirs shop or attraction hostess, something like that What kind of job can you do in the French pavillon? You'll get to chose what you wanna work for in october when the big interivew day comes. Choose Merchandise or Attraction. it's seperate, used to be the same thing. Do you know what the French Pavillion looks like ? Well it's composed of 1 big souvenir shop, 2 perfume shops and a Wine shop (where we sell wine by the glass and other wine articles + products from Provence). There also is a theatre where 'Impressions de France' is playing all day long, it's an 18-minute movie about France. So if you're Merch. then your job is gonna be to host in the shops (there is a rotation, you don't stay in the same shop for the whole day), ring up the guests when they're done with their purchase and smile and greet and be nice to the kids and stuff. In attraction, you have to greet the guests as they go by in front of the theatre, then do a speech (in english) in front of the audience before and after the movie. Both Merch. and Attraction are cool places to work at. Let me know if you have any further question. Just to let you know, maybe you already do, but you're gonna have a departure date after the results of the interview. This date could be like in a year and a half. So be prepared to not leave right after you get hired. Take care !
