Where are you from? Are you applying to the summer program as well? I'm from Montreal, Quebec :)

I'm a Canadian too!! I'm from Ottawa but I'm living in Winnipeg right now for school. I applied at the beginning of September and they've invited me to the face to face interviews! I'm not sure when and where those are yet but I'm super excited!!!

    I'm from Ottawa too!! :D

I am indeed applying for the summer program. I've been invited to the f2f, so I'm just waiting for them to let us know the dates for early 2009 (aparently end of january/early february)

If there's a date for Montreal that's where I will be going, so I might see you there glamkay! :)

Hi, I'm from Sudbury, Ontario but going to school in Halifax. I've been invited to the face to face sometime in 2009. It's great to meet another Canadian on the boards :)

Yep, I know they mentioned that in February, they'd be having interviews in Vancouver and Toronto (the Montreal ones are at the end of October) but they might add other interview cities depending on where all the applicants are coming from.

If we applied after the face to ace interviews are in our city can we do a phone interview instead? Or does it absolutely have to be face to face that we have to travel to the next closest city for the interview?

glamkay - I would think it has to be a face-to face, since the phone interview is kind of "step 1" of the interview process.

emily135 - I wanted to go to the Montreal ones at the end of this month, but I was told by Kristen that they were for a different program so I would have to do the Toronto ones (also end of this month). But then she said if I could wait a bit longer, they might hold one in Montreal again in the new year. So I have my fingers crossed for that!

Oooh excellent.. about the interviews being in montreal in the new year that is hehehe. Because I really REALLY can't make the one next week.... I have 4 midterms in three days so it's gonna be crunch time next week... And even if I found a little hole in my schedule in which I would be able to schedule an interview I still wouldn't be able to go because I'm pretty sure my parents would kill me lol. You guys know how greek parents can be ;)

Jodi-Wow, how did you like Halifax? I found it such a huge change from Ontario. It is really gorgeous here though when the weather is half-decent lol! Congrats on getting in, you must be so excited! What position are you doing? Hopefully we will all see you down there this summer :)

Glamkay-Haha ya I understand! It's like everything is due during the next few weeks. I would love to have my interview now but I guess I'll have to wait until 2009! Hopefully we find out all the details before the holidays.

Jodi-Haha, ya the weather here is kinda crazy! Front entrance operations sounds like so much fun! Thanks, I hope we all make it too! Have fun when you get over there :)

Logan514-Where in Nova Scotia do you live? I read somewhere that during the past two years they've had the Face 2 Face in Halifax but if not I'm going to Toronto for mine.

    Hey! Yup, Canadian here :)
I have an interview in Toronto ..oh, oh dear, tomorrow! Haven't had much time to think of it ... shucks, it's going to be long and travel-ful.
As far as I remember, the Montreal interview is on Oct 30th!
Anybody else here for the Toronto interview on the 29th?

I'm not too stressed... just not looking forward to two days of time-crunching for the travel.
I really want to meet some of the others with interviews tomorrow!

Amnahp12-Good luck on your interview tomorrow :). I think a lot of us are going to the interviews in the spring. You will have to let us know how it goes! What did Disney ask you to bring to the interview with you if you don't mind me asking? Do you have to bring a proof of enrollment from your school? I'm just curious since I should put in my request now from Dal since they take forever to do this stuff!

Hey! Thanks! Well, basically, I was sent an email with two documents - one was a short form that you fill out halfway and a university rep fills out the other half and stamped with a university seal. The other was a short letter that they want typed out on a university letterhead. They're both basically just accreditation for your school and to ensure that you're registered to be there and will be back the following year. It didn't take me too long to get that done, actually - went to my Office of the Registrar and they did it up in a jiffy. And also, you have to bring your passport and a few copies.
    Hope that helps!
I just decided to take the interview tomorrow because I have six courses next semester, plus work and extracurrics, and it'll be even harder to get down to Toronto! [And hey, earlier replies can't hurt, right...?]
