hey everyone, i've jst accepted a position on ICP July-Jan. I'm beginning to get really excited (I've never been to Disney world) and it sounds like an incredible experience! I jst have a few questions: what did people who have been before get out of it, what was the best part? What did most people do when they returned to the UK? What's the college work like? I bet once i'm out there I won't want to come back home! I'm sooo excited about going but there's so much that i'm curious about too! Can't w8 for the hot weather!! Lizzie xxx
hihi!congrats! i did the icp in summer 2005 and loved it! i think for me, my fave part of the experience has to be the free park entry, discounts, meeting new people(theres a difference in sharing flats at uni and at disney....sharing a flat at disney is well better!they start to become your 2nd family in a way) the freedom,thunderstorms,rollercoasters!.....i think everything is good if i think about it now! doing the program changed my life and yep i didnt wanna go home! i came back from florida all nice and tanned, but after 2 weeks ull start to go a bit 'cold turkey' and i think every old cast member will know what i mean lol.... ...its weird i have got disney on the mind all the time...my friends are a bit sick of it lol but merph, i dont care lol after 3 years of cold turkey moments im going back out there and doing the CRP in april and i CANT WAIT!!! you'll enjoy it lizzie!it is hard work but the benifits you get from disney makes it all worth while only thing i will say is that it gets REALLY hot in the summer so drink lots of water or gatorade...oh and also pack a rain coat...when it rains....ITS RAINING BUCKETS lol(well...at least it cools you off lol) have fun my dear congrats again! xx
