right guys, when i'm in florida next year, i want to see a tampa bay bucs game, and a florida gators game. bucs are in tampa bay...i would assume! gators are in gainesville. has anyone been to games there? if not, it doesn't really matter, i'm just wondering whether it's possible to get public transport there, or if it'll be a rent-a-car jobby? cheers guys x (by the way, i know they're both 1 and a half-2 hours away, but i still thought there could be public transport going there)
Renting a car would probably be your best option. I got to Tampa in about an hour 15 mins from Orlando, it's an easy drive straight along I4.
I'd love to go see an american football game! I don't even watch sports lol, but I'd like the experience. I also want to go to a baseball game LOL. You can do that at WWoS though.
Count me in!! I want to go to sports events that I don't ever get to see here, baseball, basketball..anything going. I've heard word that Leeds Rhinos are due to challenge Jacksonville next year, they went out to Florida a year ago to promote rugby league. So folks should be prepared to get dragged along!!
do jacksonville have a rugby league team? also, i found out there's a (american) football team in orlando, but they don't exactly look as good as the others. but there is orlando magic! and louisa, we'll defo have to go see some atlanta braves action! argggggh this is all getting me too excited!
yes they do have one (not sure of the name...hmm wonder if they have a mascott!), but they weren't playing. It was Leeds Rhinos Vs an Australian team which Russell Crowe manages. He was there trying to promote it, but of course rhinos beat them good and proper. I want a big foam finger.
Yeah, we are so cooler. Or we would be if we had a big foam finger. No wait, we're even cooler without the foam finger, so think what the foam finger will do for our coolness!
