Hi Guys was wondering if any of you guys knew London well because when I go To Embassy I got 2 hours and a half to find it from Victoria station, where abouts is it located and whats the fastest way of getting there! I was thinking Tube but where does one get off?

    Many Thanks Mark xxx

lol Mark u make things sound so serious u plonker!

tube wise u need to get to Oxford Circus, then its a straight run from there

go on www.thetube.com it'll tell u the tube route if u fill in from victoria to there ;)

and multimap.co.uk is good if u pop the embassy postcode in there u can see how far it is ;)

I have just finished the form and i put state/province for my passport question as Wales and for place of birth and address i put county.

the Embassy is off Oxford street or thereabouts, i think u can get a direct tube there from victoria but dnt hold me to that!

The closest station is bond street on the underground, can't remember what line that is on though. From there the embassy is about a 5 min walk or 1 min sprint (personal experience!). Its dead easy really, grap a map off multimap.co.uk like sara said. And just remember to take stuff to keep you entertained while you're there!!

When i had my interview in 2003 it took 2 and a half hours... its well boring... dunno if its changed but they called the numbers randomly... so u had to keep watching the screen... so u can be waiting anything from 45 minutes to 4/5 hrs if ur really unlucky!
The embassy said allow 3 hrs on the apt sheet...
    Though yummy said allow 4.
I think Jo said its a lot quicker in belfast though...

Mine took forever!! Only 45 mins for the first interview, but then had to wait another 3 hours for the second part. There were around 300 people when i went in, and when my number was called there were only six people left!!! I was so worried that i had been rejected! All good in the end though  ;D
