you can apply for cruise line, advenures by disney and dlp whilst there but you have to be home for the process of getting visa or whatever started

If your wanting toapply for the Cruise line afterwards I would suggest when you have about 3-4 weeks left in your program get that process started. Its not going to be like you apply they call the next morning and want you to start a week later. Its a bit of a drawn out process so it takes time and the sooner you get it sorted the better :)

    Hi!
I've heard that the life on the disney cruise line is not like crp. You work 7 days a week everyday for like 4 or 6 months. You have no "staff zone" so you have to be at your cabin when you have are not at work. The food is expensive and crap. Leftovers from the guest, pay a fortune for internet access and it goes on and on and on.

Can someone who have been working for the DCL tell more about it? I don't want to work and live in Norway, so I'm thinking about this as an opportunity, but not if the things mentioned above is true :(

yes its true that you will work qa shift every day while your on the ship, you dont get a full day off.... but thats cruise ship life im afraid!
there is staff only areas tho and there are events for staff to take part in off shift (social events etc)
yes, it is a totally different experience than the CRP and the 2 shouldnt be compared as they are totally different.
yes, the cost for internet access on the ship is probably expensive which is why most people take a laptop and use an internet cafe when the ship is in port.

Cruise ship life IS demanding and it isnt for everyone and if you want a re-run of the CRP i dont think the cruise if a good idea.....!

THe whole thing with the cruise ship is that your there to work. You are esstentially trapped on there so they own your every move. So best be putting you to use and make you work work work. The most demanding so iveh eard is Food and Beverage as its a constant battle to feed everyone and you gotta move move move.
