I just thought I would make this topic to help some people with any unanswerd questions or worrys they might have about doing any of the programs main one I can think of from my amazing 2006 experience is: 1) learn the points system for phoning in sick.. haha so you don't rack up too many to take the random day trip... you will do this hehe 2) Pleaseeee don't even risk drinking if your under 21, I had an amazing friend that I met terminated for sipping what she didnt know was alchohol in Pleasure Island, the reedy creek police were on her in an instant, and there are security guards constantly looking out for under 21s drinking, there is no question what so ever, you will be terminated if your caught! Anyway, thats all i can think of atm... feel free to add! Craig.
OOh! important one: If your planning on renting a car do not!!!! go to Avis at the Hilton in Downtown disney, they are terrible! worst one ever, let alone expensive.. The best car rental place I experienced was 'E-Z Rent a car' which is on the much talked about 'Osceola parkway' which is near the wild world of sports and the 'Gaylord resort' the number is: 407-397-1805 5507 W. Hwy 192 Kissimmee, 34746 www.e-zrentacar.com I'm sure some of you will come to thank me for this
haha have to admit whilst in Orlando last September my little brothers and I did have quite a few giggles over the Gaylord Resort-they thought it was hilarious!
Craig, or Creg? Guess who...? I'm going back to do the ICP again, im in Ops now! i leave in under 8 weeks and i can't wait!
haha pi is over 21 so that really isnt a problem anymore.. and to be fair i dont know a single underager that doesnt drink.
There have been numerous discussions about the drinking issue so I'll just say a short point. Don't think just about yourself because if you're drinking underage, you could be putting your roomates and others at risk of being termed as well. Honestly, if you can't go without drinking for however long your program lasts, maybe you shouldn't go? Anyways, on to happier things... if you have a car and it is even close to an option to bring it down with you... DO IT!!! It makes everything so much easier... taking road trips, going shopping, exploring Orlando. My roomates and I didn't have a vehicle and we only rented a car once and we didn't get to do as much as we would have liked to.
Hey Stu! haha i figured out who you were I'm so jelous your going back, arrrgh, I have an interview for the Cruise Line on friday, so see how that goes.. how you doing anyway? I re-found this website yesterday, so started posting again
haha, dont worry, when i was in orlando i actually took a photo of it when driving past... so in comparison i am at least as immature as you!
I swear university makes you go backwards in terms of maturity Still, not as good a name as Minnewanka lake in Canada though...
It's near Banff, although I can't remember whether it's actually inside the park or not, but it's around that area. Gorgeous lake, actually (well, like everything around there, really!)
