Hi, I'm not even sure I should put my question here but whatever I was just wondering is there really a pass with which I can let my family in for free? can I let other people in as well? how many? I was selected for the food & beverage program at the mexican pavilion I guess there is not such pass in this position Can I still ask somebody else to let my family in? How does that work?
You get 12 days per calendar year to sign up to 3 people into the parks for free. There are certain days such as today that are black out days that you can't sign anyone in. Once signed in your family or friends has a hopper pass so they can go to any park they want for that day. If it's your immidate family you can let them go and enjoy yourselves. If it's your friends disney expects you to stay with them all day. They wont be checking but if your friends get into trouble and you aren't with them to keep them from getting into trouble there could be a problem there. You cannot sign anyone into the waterparks, pleasure island, or disney quest.
yes u can let in anyone u want because in the main entrance they dont know who is your realtive or not. so as far as the guest comes in with you and your "main gate pass" is ok. but for the mexican girl who asked im sad to tell you that participants for San Angel dont have main gate passes ni modo pero le puedes pedir a algun mercha ke te los pase jeje saludos Carlos F&B 03-04
So does the person who works at disney have to be with their family/friends to let them get through the gate every time? My boyfriend is going to be working at 1 of the parks so me and my friend are going over to visit him and we'll be wanting to go to a different park everyday but if my boyfriend is doing a late shift and not starting until the afternoon then we'd have to wait till the afternoon to get into the park is that right? I'm a bit confused as to how it works sorry!
nope you just go to the main entrance with your BF, he will let you in and then he can do whatever he wants, go back to sleep, eat something, etc. you just need to be with him one moment at the entrance. hope it helps see ya Carlos MEX F&B 03-04
eh one question, my family is visiting me in october, i start in 2 weeks, so will they be able to get in for free on my pass then, or is that still to early and if it's too early, is there ny chance i can get one of my friends to let them in free on their pass?
im not sure when they give you the main gate pass but i think is after 3 months but again im not sure, but yeah you can ask someone to let your family in and then when you have your pass if that person needs tickets you can return the favor. see ya Carlos MEX F&B 03-04

so are each of the 12 days is used up even if you only let ay one or two people in on that day? As opposed to it being that 3 people can each come into the park 12 times, on any day they want even if the others aren't going in on that day?
Each day you use it (and you can only use it once each day so you cant sign in 3 people at different times) each person with you is given a one day hopper ticket and one day comes off your pass. It doesn't matter who the people are and in theory you could sign in 36 different people for one day each (3 per day still), or you could do 3 people for 12 days each.
oh i get it now! Do you know anything about the hotel discount? I've heard you can get up to 50% off sometimes in disney hotels. Can you get the discount for your family?
You get unlimited stays for yourself (and whoever else in your room) at 50% off. YOu get something like 5 nights a year where you can book your friends/family into their own room at 40% off. There is very limited availability, you can only book 7 days at a time, the discount rates are subject to change, and you need to show your WDW ID at the front desk of the resort people are staying in within 10 days before the check in date.
