The whole new 'What will you celebrate' campaign looks so much better than that naff 'Year of a million dreams' one that went on for over 2 years or something wasn't it? ;D
To be honest...I think Disney is scraping the barrel with What Will We Celebrate? They celebrated all that stuff to begin with, and just turned it into a bigger celebration. At least YoMD was original. HOWEVER! The parade is awesome and it all looks so nice, and hopefully we'll be getting new nametags!
good parade. It'll be awesome to see in person..they always are The whole free birthday thing is cool. Good marketing. Since we'll already have a free pass, we'll get to choose the giftcard (for the price of a ticket) or a one-day, one-park ticket to be used anytime before your next birthday or a fastpass 'badge' that seemed to have some mixed details. I'm thinking the giftcard..you can never own enough disney (We do still get to be part of it even though we're cast members right?)
I can't find anything on the website saying its not open to CM's, but unfortunately I'd expect CM's to be excluded - otherwise its like giving all CM's an extra $70 to spend in the parks, given they're almost certain to be able to visit on their birthday. During the year of a million dreams CM's were unable to participate in the main giveaway, though were unlikely to be found out with the smaller instant prizes, so were instead entered into a seperate CM giveaway - I didn't win anything though. The new parade is good, but the extent of its newness is questionable. Anyone who saw the old parade will recognise the floats are the same, with a few extra balloons and decorations. It does have different music, and stops in places now though with dancers.
