yes bring a variety of gear...waterproofs and summer stuff.u will defo buy lots of things there...so wouldnt take much waterproofds....a jacket and umbrellas cool...oh yes a jumpr is great to bring for those chilly days........

yeah defo take a jumper people as linz says its cold in the air con and in the evenings, so im takin bout 3 zip up tops, and a couple of cardi things!

i no what u mean i always forget something plus i dont look to good in a bikin hehe dont worry ull be fine make a list thats what i always do write down what i think i need and then ask my mum or one of my friends to have a look and see if they think ive missed something and if i had add it and tick things off as i pack them

My problem is i keep buying new stuff to take with me... at the rate im going everything in my cases will be new!
I cant wait to pack but am gonna have to wait till i leave edinburgh... will start packing after i get my visa (assuming i get it...) Cant wait!

how long ru goin for am goin on the 6th june till 26th aug cant wait only got the job about two weeks ago maybe less so am runnin round like mad am goin to london on 17 may ahhhhh tryin not to buy to much new stuff as i have soooo little money thats what livin at uni will do to ya when i finsh uni in a few weeks i have to go home and work my ass off to earn some cash before i go ah the fun hehehe where u from anyway i live in liverpool for most of the year as am at uni hope ur good

Hi Low,
I'm going for a year to do merch - what job are u going to do? I've known i have the job since december but im still running round like crazy... my visa interviews on may 23rd... i cant imagine how crazy it must be having only just found out - with so little time to go.
I live in edinburgh most the time just finishing my degree im about to do my finals im really nervous! I work too as a hostess at an international conference centre... But im from Staffs originally.
Im so excited about Florida... you'll never want to go home after your 3 months!

i cant wait as well i found out so late cos i dident get it first time round but the kept my file in case anythin came up and it did so that how i got my job am going to be cleanin the park and stuff like that which might not be the most fun thing in the world but am goin to be in florida i think that if i like it i might try and go back and do the year proggramme which i think would be really good but am not sure that u can do it twice (can you) am so exsited about goin and i keep reading thing that people are sayin that are all ready there ahhhhhhhhhh i just need to carm down and focuse on my work as my exams start on the 3rd may (great they start on my birthday am not even goin to get to go out as i have an exam the next day ahhhh the fun) but as soon as there over am goin to get very excited and happy about goin hehehehe what u doin at uni am doin history which is quite fun really though it sound a little sad

Im sure it doesnt matter what job u do... it will be such a good experience being in florida.. You'll have fun walking round the parks all day. Its so hard to focus on uni work right now isnt it! I cant wait till my exams are over on may 18th. That sucks u got an exam on your birthday... I study Business i mostly like it as far as uni goes but not right now as im just dreading these exams!
