I can't believe I am goign to actually be there in 5 days.... It's almost unreal! Well... I LOVE meeting new people, and Im so curioous about who my roomates will be, if we get along.. I understand we have to pay the flight ticket ourselves. How will you guys do it? On tuesday or in a different way? 700 dollars is a lot...!!

ok they can take money out of your paycheck each week - along with your rent and tax etc - most ppl do it that way, its jus easier and u have more money to spend in walmart etc lol ;D

Yes I am from norway Well. I guess I just have to pay the 700 dollars... But I thinkthe information we get isn't very good. For example, no one told me that when I got the VISA in Oslo, I had to pay money for that PLUS new pictures... But that is all sorted out now. I can't wait to be there!!

For min del kunne jeg ha dratt mye tidligere i år, men venninna mi som jeg reiser sammen med vill feire 20 års dagen hennes her i Norge... Så derfor ble det 6.des. Er litt lei meg fordi jeg ikke får jul her i Norge, men men. Er jo her neste jul
they take $20 a week from me - but to be fair its already gone when u get your paycheck so u dont need to worry about anything like rent tc - your paycheck is yours when u get it no bills etc

Hi newbies, looking forward to meeting you all but just a wee warning about the 2nd weeks paycheck, they will take 2 weeks rent and 2 weeks of airfare out of the one check and you aren't left with much, so plan to keep some money for tha second week.

I found it hard trying to live off the wages at first and enjoy the funside to but the key is just to watch your money. Silly little things like make your own lunches to take to work and try to resist the subways which everyone lives off everyday. Enjoy and except the RANDOM, you will find out. Remember to ask security at the front gate to take your first wal-mart shopping home and don't try to lug it all home yourself. Speak to anyone and everyone p.s where are you from and where are you flying from
