24's in DisneyWorld - OMG

Hello everyone from my room at the Contemporary Resort!

I landed well and had a great flight from Vancouver, BC, Canada.

It's always strange getting on a plan at noon and arriving at 7:30 for a 4 hrs flight, but All is good! The weather is great, I have been sitting on my balcony since I got here, just waiting for Wishes to start. I have a perfect view of Space Mountain and the Castle!

Can't wait til Tuesday...Get to finally meet everyone!

Oh and so you know, All the girls are in the Commons, and some of the boys will have to live in Vista and the other one as apparently there isn't enough room for all your boys right now! But it's only temporary and then I'm sure you'll join us in the Commons.

Ah, that's so exciting! I wish I was watching Wishes from a balcony right now!
Is it nice and warm? It's going to be 19 degrees here tomorrow apparently!
How did you find out that some of the boys will be at Vista?

I'm almost tempted to stay in tomorrow night and watch Wishes from my balcony again, the likelyhood I'll get to do it again, is slim, and the likelyhood I'll be able to see it from the Parks is highly likely over the next year!

hey everyone!!! 24s are nearly ready to hit florida!!!! arghhhhhhh - insane!!!! i go to the airport at 5am and my flight leaves at 9am!!!! arghhhhhh!!!! Yeah,Barbara from the arrivals team phoned me yesterday,she explained the situation about the over spill in the commons for the boys..... it sucks,but hopefully it wont be for to long!!! Anyway,for those who are there already - ENJOY!!!!!! and for those of us still waiting to go - have a great flight,relax,enjoy it and SEE YOU TOMORROW!!!!!!! ;D xx

 

i know its been happening for a while... commons being too full for new arrivals, but you'll be put in the commons soon enough

I'm surprised that they would put new ICP's into vista since there is a shortage of housing at the commons, I'm doing the CP program right now & live in Chatham. I know there are a couple of apartments that are vacant it would make more sense to house them here for the time being then all the way over at vista since chatham is a lot closer to the commons.

I couldn't remember the name of Chatham when I wrote the thread, the overflow may be there, not neccessarily Vista.

Today wasnt really that hot. Im surprised they said the commons was overflowing. My apartment was almost half empty before the last arrival group and I've heard that there are a lot of vacant 2 bedroom apts for guys.

 

I am here, and since I'm from BC is was a lot hotter here (in Orlando) than it was at home!

I was just passing on a message that Barbara gave to me!

 

Also if they're vacent they could be in the middle of being converted from boys apartments to girls. Makes sense that they'd be doing this if there's a lot more girls arriving.

 

So whilst the rest of the 24's are arriving today, I'm here in Belfast, I've just had my VISA thingy-ma-jig. It only took 40 minutes! Not a year like in London! Hurrah! I'm now sat bored My plane isn't till 10 tonight, so I have a lot of waiting to do. But at least I have a book. With any luck I'll have my passport back and I'll be out over the weekend!

heyyyyyy! hello 24's!!! i'm not in orlando already hehe...but i'm sitting in the airport spending some time here til i wait for my arrival group (and still a long time til my flight hehe) but i've already traveled like 6 hours from my hometown by bus, so i'll hopefully meeti the other people who i travel with in about 2 more hours!! so exciting!! and i really can't wait to get there and meet you at 7 guys!!! TODAY IS THE GLORIOUS 24!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE FINALLY DID IT! hehe

 

One thing, those of you 24s who have never been to WDW are gona be amazed! The whole resort is AMAZING...and seems really HUGE...Takes 30 mins to get to certain areas of the resorts (dependant on where you are). But my Piece of knowlege I learned from one of my Bus drivers over the past day, WDW Resort fits in the Parking Lot of DisneyLand!

HAHAHA! Crazyness.

 

Its the other way round. Disneyland fits in MK's parking lot, and MK Parking lot is bigger than the MK park. I hope you guys are all settling in.
