21st September 2010 Arrival Date!

Just thought I would start a thread for all those who are starting at WDW on the 21st Sept 2010! Maybe we can arrange to book the same flights etc, so we don't have to spend the flight all alone. :-(

Anywho...I'm Kim (23, Peterborough Cambs) and I'm going to be in F&B.

I'm going to be there the 7th of September so i will see you guys there i can't wait to meet you Kim cause you were'nt at the interview on Friday!!!

I've been accepted too! I am sooooooooo happy!! My departure date is 21st September and got a role in merchandise! Im like the happiest person ever just now and think im gonna b soo hyper for next 6 months!!

Has anyone started looking at flights or insurance yet? I've looked at flights and they seem pretty pricey! At least we only need 4 months of medical coverage though, we might save some money there?? And we need a PayPal account to pay YJ for the Criminal Background Check, I don't have PayPal!!

 

Hey if you go on your yummy job profile they should have put some information sheets under you document section:
1: I have started looking at flights i think i am going to go with STA travel as the flights are around £350 much cheaper also if you book your flight with them you get %10 off there insurance...for a whole year it about £120 wich i recon is better as just 4 month because if you go with the Disney insurance it will take money out of your pay cheque each week
2: It says on the sheet you don't need a pay pal acount to psy for the CRB

Finally has yummy jobs rang you yet?? They rang me on Friday but i was busy so they said they would ring me tomorrow!!!

I have downloaded that sheet but not looked through it all in detail yet...should do that! Those deals that you said about seem reasonable! I think I'll go for those as well. I've been looking at phones and the system they have other there seems a little confusing and expensive! So I'm going to buy a SIM card from YJ and then unlock a UK phone. Should work out cheaper, plus with the SIM you get free AT&T to AT&T calls, so if we all get a SIM from there, it'll def be cheaper!

Yeah, they rang on Friday. They just went through all of the details of your job offer, what to do now, what they're going to be sending us, to go to your account on YJ and download those docs and a few other bits like that. Only lasted about 10 mins.

Yeah, I'm gonna start thinking about flights pretty soon!

 

Yes i'm not too sure about the phone yet aparently lots of people buy a cheap $10 phone from walmart when over there to be honest i want whatever is cheap in america and then i'm going to use Skype and msn to ring back to the UK!!!

ooo what did they say they would send is it the Disney pack...Do you know when we will get it!!

It's exsactly 6 moths today for me until i got out AHHH!!

 

Yeah, I'm going to be Skyping a lot too! Got my Mum set up on video calling, she's quite good at it now!

They don't know yet about the packs from Disney, as they haven't received them from Disney itself yet, so when they do (maybe a month or so), they'll send them on to us!

I know, for me 6 months and 14 days! I still can't believe it yet! ;D
