2009 summer roles: what did you pick?

just thought it might be a good place to put what you put down in your interview and then to see what people get when they find out!

its no longer on the options you get a new list at the interviews, vacation planner, f&b kitchen and charcter assistant are also not on the role list we got in liverpool

 

Oh, really? When did you take the interviw? I received the role check list 2 days ago. There are 14 roles on the list. I am going to have the f2f interview on next Tuesday (18th Nov.), so you mean I will receive a new list on the interview day?

 

Where is your interview? Which program are you applying for? And is character attendant on that role list?

 

Yup! You always get a new and up to date version of the role checklist on the interview day, and it usually has most of the options with maybe one or two added or taken away.

Also, arg! Character attendant isn't on the list! Boo!

 

I questioned Roger about attendant on tuesday and he said that they were not looking for people NOW. Frustratingly he said that they might be at later interviews.

So will be interesting to see what disappears and appears between each interview date... I presume this first wave will all have the same but the ones in december might have an updated list

 

an updated list? i certainly hope not! if costuming is limited, it might not be on the list then! maybe he meant like the second group of interviews like the spring ones...eep with 27 days to go....

 

Last year for example, attractions was on the autumn interview list, but not the easter one.

 

I am applying for ICP summer 2009, just like everyone else. The interview will be held on Tuesday November the 18th at the University of Central Lancashire (nerver heard of though...). It seems like there is no one else (except for my friend) will take the interview there...

And, yes, character attendant is on my checking list. There are actually 14 roles on the list. Do I need to number all of them in order of preference? ???

 

Well i had my interview today and i picked 5 roles:

1. Character Performer
2. Attractions
3. Merchandise
4. Lifeguard
5. Full Service F&B

 

costuming is on there but very very limited.

i put down:
attractions
character
merchandise.

 

hmm well fingers crossed it will be on the list for us london december folk!

Are you applying for that again this year Vik? I'm thinking of putting that as one of my choices, since I've heard good things about it... That is if it's still available by the time our Canadian interviews take place! I'm a litle nervous that there won't be many choices on the list by then! I still have my fingers on both hands crossed for character attendant though!

 

I know, right? I guess I'll be in the second round of interviewees for this summer as I just sent in my Resume a week ago, but that would sukh MAJOR HARDCORE if there was just the roles that no one wanted leftover... haha, although I can see myself loving anywhere I would end up (except operations, personally, I HATE DRIVING and entrance work is just not for me).

I will be an angry panda if I get to the interviews and I can't check off Entertainment.
Though the idea of being a ghostie attractions hostess at the Haunted Mansion is deee-lightful, hee

 

I'm excited for my interview, still not 100% about my role list, but I have a fair idea. I guess if theres different ones on the one given at the interview then that'll change it around.

Is anyone going to the Cardiff interview?!

 

On the phone I was told that I would be going to Cardiff, but last week then inivited me to one tomorrow in London.
