Well I applied over the internet and viewed the e-presentation. I had a phone interview and felt extremely good about it. The thing that is worrying me is that I have a DUI on my record. After I sent in my information, they emailed me a form to sign out so that I could explain why I had received this charge. I took my time and thought long and hard what to put in the latter. I said everything I could to explain how immature, irrational, and dangerous it was for me and the other people on the road. It was about a page in length. Well today I got a letter after about three weeks saying, "We are currently processing your application for the Spring Advantage 2009 Season program, and at this time, your status is pending a final decision".
There were a few other paragraphs in there, but this one stuck out at me the most. It says I will be contacted before Decemeber. I am happy it is not a rejection, but I am very scared that my charge will affect me. Has anyone else received a letter like this. Is this considered waitlisted? Please respond for I am pretty sad that my chances may be non-existent now and I just really want to get out of my small town. I am 19 and a sophmore in college who really wants this position. Should I call, email, or wait. Thanks!

I know a couple guys from Norway that did the program and the same thing happened, they waited and I was down there in 2006 with them. So it should be fine, as long as you thought long and hard and their was remorse and learning in your letter you should be fine.
