renato, I found out today that i got the job! (pending confirmation of rehire status from wdw) I think i got that. So now she's told me to get a criminal background check and fax it asap then we can sort the medical, how weird. No mention of a start date or anything! How did everyone else do? Danielle xxx

Congrats to all you guys who got jobs!!! ;D Why do you have to wait until September for a merch job?? I'm thinking about going back. I just did my medical last week in London and they've offered me a contract (in merch) for the 4th of April!!! I have my visa from last time so don't have to wait for that but I expected to have to wait a lot longer!!! It's actually too early for me as I have a wedding to go on the 15th April. It's 2 of my friends from Epcot so don't want to miss that! Plus have to give a months notice at my job!!! I really am confused as to why you guys have to wait so long, especially Ona as she had her interview a while ago!!! ??? I actually still have to check with the US Embassy as my visa's in my old passport but they refused to transfer it to my new one when I renewed! ??? Laura.
i have financial ties that i have to complete which is y i cant go til sept at earliest i dont understand y ona cannot get medical and stuff done? if u got offered to go back to cruise? its odd how they work!!! im hoping il be able to get medical and visa done over summer and then disney say i can go in sept or oct xxxx
Oh I see Laura. Bit of confusion on my part!!! ??? I just e-mailed the woman at Disney and she says it's not a contract they have sent me just the part I need to get my visa at the Embassy! Even though I have explained on several occasions that my C1/D visa is still valid from last time!!! I need to phone the very expensive Embassy number to check with them for definite that I can use my visa even though it's in my old passport! Guess we'll find out! Laura. ;D
Okay, I just so don't get how they decide on arrival dates. : Clappy has now got her "package" thingy through. Inside, it has an arrival date of the end of March but Patricia wouldn't let her book a visa interview for ages so when she did, the earliest she could get was in april. : Hence, she's not gonna make that arrival date. It just makes no sense. : On top of that, I'm still waiting (been more than 5 months now) with not a peep. Yet they tell you Laura (D - this is gonna get confusin ;D ) that you can have an arrival date in April. ??? Unless it's because you already have a visa, but then you say they seemed confused about that. : The saga really does continue. : ;D Ona x
It is utterly confusing Ona!!! ??? I e-mailed the lady I've been dealing with and she says that the package they sent me today is to help me to get a visa so I can get a start date within the next 3 months. But when I e-mailed and told her (again!) that my visa is still valid she said to check with the US Embassy and get back to her. ??? And I told her I would be available after 25th April, preferably mid-May so I can get off in time for Christmas, missed that bit out to her!!! ;D So to cut a long story short I have to phone the Embassy tomorrow then e-mail her and tell her what they said. I'm praying for not another trip to London!!! It cost me enough to get down there to have my medical done (I really was surprised how quickly they got my medical results to Disney......two days!!!) as I made a little trip out of it and went to see the Mary Poppins Musical...............highly recommended!!! And went on the London Eye!!! I'm not sure how the organise things at all. I'm not sure if it could be something to do with the company they are now using for recruiting as I used a different one last time and everything was done pretty sharpish.............maybe around 4 months in total from interview to start of contract. This time I have been dealing with someone direct at Celebration. It is all very confusing! ??? Ona, when is your interview for that other program? Do you think you'll do that instead? Laura D. its not necessarily bad thing going off subject, any info and chit chat about the cruise is good information..... ona i need the information so i can send off for my crb check, i have one which is onyla year old but i need a new one and know i should prob use excellent ent right??? please let me know if u can as i need to get that faxed to patricia, is it just me or is this whole faxing thing a bit of a pain seeing as i dont own a fax machine!!!! xxxxxxx
Lol yeah sorry guys for going off topic. :-[ I've been jumping around crazy since I found out Loobie & danny got the job that I forgot to say congrats here. ;D Loobie, yeah I've had loads of disclosures done over the last 2 years but you need a new one. Laura D gave me the Agency contacts here. Laura, yip, at the moment it's looking like it'll be AT LEAST six months from start to finish for recruitment for me. :-\ It seems to be taking about a month to get through the medial and visa at the moment, so even if they called tomorrow..... : Ona x

Spoke to helen yesterday and shes now finished too - flying home on saturday, cant wait to see her!!! Oh, btw, I dont know if you know but when you left Colette moved in with helen so at my throwout i threw your lovely frog out to Colette, just to scare Helen more!!!!
