Accepted for August 10th 2015

Hey all! I've been accepted to the Canadian pavilion in Attractions for August 10th!
Anyone else arriving that day?

Hey guys! Have you guys been contacted about the background check? I was only accepted a week ago but August is coming so fast I'm worried about getting it in time!

 

I have not been contacted about the background check or visa. I haven't even gotten my background check back yet.

That being said, have you done anything for your visa yet? I thought Disney was sending us something to take to the consulate/embassy, but now I have no idea.

 

I can only tell you what I know about applications from Germany but I guess it's the same thing.

We had to give them a copy of our criminal records at the interview and everything else (the visa form and stuff we will need at the embassy) we will get in a "Disney package" probably in June or later.
I guess they'll do the background check there. Hope this helps

I sent an e-mail to Disney last week about the background check, but I haven't gotten anything back yet. I was going to just get a standard one but then there was all these other options, I'd hate to get the wrong thing. I might just call Disney and see because I know here, it can take a few weeks for a background check to come in and I really don't want to lose the job because it didn't come in on time! Did all your e-mails about it say they had to be sent to the Procurement Ally 60 before arrival too? I saw the website itself now says just 30 days before arrival but I'm not sure which date to go by.

 

It´s the same for us Norwegians as well, I´m nervous about missing out on something though...

 

I know, same with me. I really want the package to get here so I can stop worrying. Did you get the mail about the Disney look as well? It also shows up in my Dashboard.

hey im just wondering how old you guys are?? im considering doing this after i graduate school in 2017 and i will be 23 and im wondering if i will be too old compared to everyone else

I think the average age is around 21.

 

I'm turning 21 a few weeks before I leave. I don't think you'll be too old when you're 23.
