CRP Canada Pavilion 2014

Hello everyone!

My name is Ashley and I am also going to the interview on the 16th in Toronto! I'm so excited and nervous too! Can't wait to see you all there. I'm driving in tomorrow from my small town about an hour away in the morning so I probably won't be able to get together with any of you before the presentation, but I look forward to meeting you between the presentation and our interviews. Hey guys! I'm Sarah, I applied for the program on march 21. I still haven't heard anything back from Disney at this point (which I'm kind of glad as I'm in the process of renewing my passport) but I'm super excited and have no idea how some of you guys have been able to stand the wait. It hasn't even been a month for me and I'm already super tense about it.
Does anyone know when they might start looking at applications from 2014?

 

I applied via the Disney International Programs website recently and I have been scheduled a video interview for next week. Is this the new version of the phone/first interview? I just haven't seen any discussion about it to this point.

 

I just scheduled mine too, it sounds like Canadians do a video interview kinda like skype and the UK applicants now do a group interview for their first round. At least that's what I get from reading discussions and what not

I just scheduled my video interview for next week as well!!! Super exciting!!!!! Do we know know when they're actually hiring for?
Also if you get a face to face interview do you know where it might be? From what I've been reading it's Toronto but just thought I'd ask..

In the past they ran interviews out of Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. I'm not sure what it will be like with Disney handling the interviewing themselves. Nice to meet you!

When is your interview next week ? I'm doing mine Tuesday at 1pm and I'm way more nervous than I thought I'd be, it's been awhile since I've had to interview let alone for something this coooooool ! haha

I've got mine on Friday at 2 anybody have any idea on what the questions might be like? I'm super excited but super nervous at the same time!

 

Before they offered you the interview did they ask you to scan in documents ?

I looked up a ton of stuff and from what I've found the first interview is all about you, your interpersonal skills and why you want to work for Disney. So basically shine !!! : - )
I took a photo of my passport and sent that I hope that's good enough...
Where/what are you guy's applying for ?

 

I haven't submitted my passport yet, I will today. My interview is Monday at 09:00 Mountain time... (I'll be in Scottsdale, very interesting timing).

The first interview is definitely their way to gauge you. Make sure to smile a lot, use a happy tone in your voice (if that makes sense), be excited, be energetic, and let your personality come through.

Also I don' think it is completely necessary for the interview, but being in the "Disney Look" for your interview would likely help make a good impression.

 

Yeah I think all they need for now is the passport information and the other stuff on the DOC website My email said I'm being considered for food and beverage but I also put attractions, kidcot and merchandise as high interest on the form thing just so I look interested in anything! What about the rest of you?

 

I'm really only interested in food and beverage so that's the only thing I said I wanted. I really want to work at Le Cellier Steakhouse!!
I was just there in April and think it would such a cool spot to work!!

Yeah Orlando I don't think that the cultural rep program goes anywhere else but I could be wrong!

 

You are correct!

I put moderate or low interest for everything other than F&B.

They will ask all about what you want and why in the interview
